We were staying up the block. The wonderful odor of the skins lured us to the tasting room, though we were planning to go in anyway. Tasted 6 or 7 wines. When he opened a spoiles bottle he opened a new one. No charge for the tasting. No pressure to buy. Great explanations

Carmel is the oldest windery in Israel. Wonderful winery and the Center for Wine Culture where you will taste the wonderful wines. The town Zichron, Yaakov has many wonderful shops, restaurants and coffee shops.

The tour combined the history of Zichron Yaakov and wine making in Israel. Our guide had many interesting facts. It was an enjoyable activity for teens and adults. Our guide was very considerate in accommodating our special needs. Highly recommended!

I just went to the shop, but I was very nicely welcomed and tasted a couple of great wines! The attention was outstanding and you can find a wide range of wines

Four of us visited Carmel Winery. Yossi, the wine expert who works there gave us very good explanations in English (and a few Hungarian words when we left) and let us taste 6 different wines, stating the different blends and explaining as much as we wanted. We were very pleased! You can buy every wine that the shop holds, and... More

Historically the oldest and most important stop on your wine tasting tour throughout Israel. For the price, the wine quite tasty and varied. But the gift shop is the best source for amazing wine related gifts. Any out of town guests will very much enjoy the tour followed by the tasting. If you have a special event, the Bistro is... More

I visited the winery last month and absolutely loved it. The wine was delicious and the staff was great. Incredibly inviting and friendly. However, the tour reservations must be made in advance and are not always available in the off season. While I wasn't able to go on a tour I would still recommend a visit. Also, I purchased some... The Carmel Winery was amazing. Aside from being an active winery it is a historic landmark. We were met with a quick history of the winery and a delicious glass of chilled, white wine. The tour took us into the storage areas where the oak barrels were and the underground cellar too. The buildings are from the 1890's and adapted... More
