This is one of my favorite Natchez homes because there are so many artifacts. The kids room is great - dolls, etc. Wonderful tour, and there's a gift shop, just in case you haven't bought enough souvenirs! The day we went there was a lady...More

Paying for tickets the lady was already passing judgement on having a small child. If you don't want small children on your tours, post it. Once on the guide, the tour guide was very hateful and giving us hateful looks because my child said mommy...More

Rosalie always intrigues me the most of all the Natchez Mansions. It is one of the earlier mansions and there is a beautiful and sweet love story that unfolds as the tour ends. It is georgeous with all the original furniture and antiques. The gardens...More

My husband thinks this is the best house in Natchez. The view from the grounds is absolutely fantastic.

Beautiful home, but the tour guide basically reciting a script and could not answer questions either about the objects or the family. If you've been to many homes, you already know the basics, so details of the individual homes become more important. Worth going to,...More

Very good example of the Plantation owners Natchez "Town" houses. One of the big three, and well worth it's place on the list.

This house built for his wife by the fort is also full of southern history and a must see. As a federal style house, it is more simplistic than other southern mansions. Mrs. Wilson, who owned the house and lived in it during the occupation,...More

The drive from New Orleans might be about 2 hours and to Vicksburg is another 1 1/2-2 hours. Cotton will have been picked by then, sad to say. But you can buy cotton bowls easily.

No! There is a charge for admission and I think it is $13-$15 dollars per person. The money is used to help with the upkeep of the home. Well worth the price!
