The gentleman who was the tour guide was the best tour that we had. Definitely worth seeing, & a beautiful view of the Mississippi from the upstairs balcony.

What a beautifully kept mansion right in town. Learned that these are not plantation homes (mostly across river in LA) but town homes. Enjoyed visit with Meredith, one of the guides.

We toured Rosalie and really enjoyed the presentation given by our tour guide. The house is beautifully preserved and the grounds are pristine.

We stopped to see this first because it was the first we found. WOW. If you see no other home see this one. So much of it is original. Tour guide was fantastic too. Had some thing I have not seen in other old homes.

Beautiful home overlooking the mighty Miss. Great story behind the house and old fort. Almost unbelievable that Little was only 17 when he started to build. Massive house with a stunning garden. Gift shop in the back

The drive from New Orleans might be about 2 hours and to Vicksburg is another 1 1/2-2 hours. Cotton will have been picked by then, sad to say. But you can buy cotton bowls easily.

No! There is a charge for admission and I think it is $13-$15 dollars per person. The money is used to help with the upkeep of the home. Well worth the price!
