If you have spent much time on Interstate highways, with cars speeding at 75 miles per hour and 18-wheelers muscling for road space, you can appreciate a leisurely and relaxing spin along the Natchez Trace Parkway. It is like no other highway. Established in 1938m...More

Natchez Trace is a beautiful drive that can be enjoyed at a slower pace. Scenery is beautiful and look closely as you may see a deer or other wild animals.

A beautiful road to take on a photographic journey across the country. Absolutely NO traffic and great stops along the way. I picnicked on at Turpin Creek and photographed many portions of the trace in the Natchez and Port Gibson area. I highly recommend this...More

Definitely this has been on my must do list. So pleased to have driven on a small part of this classic road. The smooth surface and shady trees were delightful . Wish I could have done more.

Road trip to enjoy the parkway. Stopped at historic sites and enjoyed the trip. A few years back traveled up to Nashville. Have traveled Tupelo to Jackson and now made it all the way to other end of Trace.

My wife and I took the trace out of Natchez and explored the nature and the pristine condition of the roadway. Have plenty of gas and just keep riding. Beautiful place.

We were on 61 for much of the drive from Vicksburg to Natchez. There was a lot of stop and go traffic so at Port Gibson, where there is a direct connection to the Trace, we turned onto that road. Although the speed limit... More
