I've drunk in a lot of places, & this is Saloon right up there in terms of atmosphere, friendliness (bar staff & locals) & music. We were lucky enough to be there on a Blues night - Monday - and Brint Anderson was playing. Stunning...More

A great spot to hang with locals in a historic setting. What it lacks in decor, housekeeping, etc. it makes up for in local color, and we had a great chat with a local who provided some great insights into the city. It's also one...More

The Under-the-hill salon has a great appearance and atmosphere but the noise really put us off. We went in just for a coffee to check it out as a possible place for dinner. We decided that we would find a much quieter place. To be...More

What a cool spot! This saloon is not only the oldest on the Mississippi River, but they offer live music, they have a courtyard and they offer rooms to stay in above the saloon! It sits right on the river, is right next to The...More

Stopped in for a cold beer on a hot July afternoon. It is what it is advertised to be - the oldest saloon in Natchez. Not large, but dark, weathered, cool and with memorabilia on every wall. The patina of authenticity permeates the main room...More

When you get here, just open the door and go in. It is definitely rustic, and don't expect craft brews on tap. That's next door at The Camp (review to follow). However, you can't beat under $3 for a beer, a $5 cover to hear...More

We received a very friendly welcome from the locals. We were the only strangers there. Good live music on the evening we visited. A place full of character. You must try throwing a dollar bill to stick on the ceiling.

This is a great place for a pint. Straight off the paddle steamer and into the pub. No draught beers but plenty of choice in bottles. It is decorated in a real old world style and well worth a visit. Happy to recommend.

Stopped in for a beer while walking along the river. Great little place with a nice bartender. Everyone was friendly. It was mostly original saloon decor. Very authentic

If I remember well those rooms can be rented for the weekend or a night or two or longer No luxury there but a wonderful spot on Old Man's River... and the persons who run the place could not be nicer ENJOY !
