Really beautiful and interesting

I always enjoy visiting cemeteries, so we made a point to stop here. Beautiful statuary and quite spread out. Worth a stop if you are in Natchez.

Visited angels on the bluff a yearly event where local actors reenact the lives of the people interred in the old cemetery.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed all the history this cemetery has. We took his picture by the Confederate soldiers headstones.

Grounds well kept, but maintenance and repairs needed on structures. Streets narrow and not well marked for direction in all routes. Taken back by age of burials. Hard to relate to those years in the past.

So many grave markers of those who served our country, or their spouses! So very many unknown soldiers buried there that it breaks your heart. It's really a lovely place and will remind you of the sacrifices of hundreds and hundreds of people to keep America safe. There are graves from Civil War on up. Really lovely.

Good place for history buffs to go. Lots of Confederate stones, older family plots and iron fenced family plots.

This was impressive and lovely. It won't take that long to go through (although on both sides of a street), unless you want to walk through and look specifically for a grave. There is a grave locating computer to help you if you need it. Open until dusk, opt for showing up late in the day. The light is beautiful... More

Our RV campground host gave us a CD to use for touring the cemetery. We also were provided a map at the Visitor's Center. It was only after we got turned around in the middle of the tour did we realize that the CD and the map did not correspond. With the confusion and narrow roads we missed a lot... More

Lot of history, but no where to park. No guidance so that you know what in the world you're looking at or why it is so historical.

Beautiful cemetery that salutes our country's heroes. The cemetery has several tiers and has a great view of the Mississippi River.
