We were on our way to the Natchez visitor center walking our way along the edge of the town near the river when we unknowingly walked through Bluff Park. The park is on the very west edge of downtown Natchez, and great to walk through if you have the time. There are two stationary binoculars (free to use and of this writing, in working condition) on the edge of the bluff, one taller and one shorter, that you can use to view up and down the river and across the river as well. There are nice large trees, and plenty of sidewalks, benches and picnic tables in the park as well. For those looking for a free thing to do, and a little low key relaxing sightseeing, highly suggest Bluff Park.

Very, very nice little park along the Mississippi River. Great views of the river and the bridges crossing over to Louisiana. The park was full of blossoming Crepe Myrtle trees, especially right around the gazebo. We stopped here only because we had little extra time on our hands, and it turned out to be maybe my favorite part of Natchez.

Beautiful sunset view. Walk down and walk along the bluff bulkhead. Very secure and planned out arra so visitors can view the sunset. Casino right at the bottom of the bluff if that's your thing as well.

Beautiful walk along the river. This is one of my favorite things to do! Parking area available, easier access in the morning than at dusk. Hopefully, the other nearby construction projects will be finished soon making it an even nicer attraction.

Bluff Park, right on the river near Rosalie, is one of our favorite spots in Natchez. Picnic tables available to stop and have lunch or a snack. The gazebo offers one of the best vantage points for some wonderful sunsets over the river.

Go here to get great views from the high bluffs above the river. This is a nice park and the gazebo is a nice place to get out of the heat and take in the breezes. Also, something you can do after 5:00PM when all the other tourist attractions close. And it's FREE. If this is helpful please give me a helpful vote. Thanks so much.

Bluff Park has an iron-fenced sidewalk along the bluff. On a warm, sunny day, it's a good place for a short stroll with a river view. The gazebo and flowers are a pretty spot. Rosalie Mansion is at the southern end. We enjoyed the view of the mansion on our afternoon walk. Pig Out Inn Barbeque is on Canal Street just a block from the park -- very convenient to to dine in or pick up takeout.

Overlooking the Mississippi River in Natchez, MS. is Bluff Park. In the park, you are able to get a spectacular view of the Mississippi River and Louisiana on the far side. The walkway also has historical markers of which one is the marker for the beginning of the Natchez Trace Parkway. The park is clean and well maintained. Suggest a visit to get a great view of the river while in Natchez.

This is such a beautiful area, a hidden gem. The walk is landscaped beautifully and has lots of places to sit and just enjoy the serenity and the views of the mighty Mississippi River! I bet sunsets are amazing here!

Great walking path along the bluffs of Natchez with a breathtaking view of the Mississippi river and bridge. Historic information markers are scattered along the walkway to give you a glimpse of the history of the bluff. Great picture taking location and great view of the barges, steamboats and other traffic transiting the river.

Are there spots for RV parking onsite? Going to BGCB19 in May and need a heads up.

I'm assuming there is a paved pathway along the river that is HCA? We have a wheelchair/stroller.

yes but I will say it is steep, if your chair is motorized great but the return trip is pretty steep but you can stop and rest.

Interested in seeing Mississippi River from Bluff Park. One interview said was a steep walk? Is their a bus to bring up for the view, because I don't know if I could walk it. Depends how far. How far is the walk up? thank-you

We parked just on the road at the side of the park and strolled the bluff. Easy access to the walk path.
