Only the mounds at the moment.

Stopped at the shop for an interesting introductory video. Apart from the mounds not much else to see at the time of our visit.

We thought this would be a replication of a village. This is a small museum with a short informative film. There was a small gift shop. Outside you could walk around and read the placards explaining the Natchez indians burial grounds. There are 3 mounds. I saw people walking on top of the mounds. Other places I have seen mounds,... Wifee and I were on our way to Alexandria, LA and stopped in to check out this visitor center. It was raining so we decided to only look around in the free museum. They have some displays of what life was like for the Natchez.

Interesting history here. Free admission. Donations accepted and appreciated I'm sure. Small museum and short 7 minute film available to watch. Friendly staff and clean restrooms. Could use some updating.

No, this is not Disney World. There are no bells or whistles. However, the ceremonial mounds are an important legacy to those interested in early civilization. The site is an impressive testimony to the culture, industry, and organization, of a large and powerful early tribe of Native American people. The video is informative and well presented. Although small, the museum... More

The museum, while rather small, was very informative and well put together. The video was very informative as well. The people were very helpful and kind. the mound trail was easy to follow and interesting. However, there is not a lot of shade, so I would suggest a hat and sunscreen.

It was neat to see, but I am lost expected a little bit more. There is a small museum to go along with the grounds.

This attraction is free. The museum is very interesting and informative. The staff were very helpful. Outside you can follow a short trail around the site. Some imagination is required.

So much info in the Museum. Books, maps, handmade items for sale. The clerk is so knowledgeable and friendly. See the movie while you are there, it's very informative.

We stopped here to see the mounds. There is a small museum with a short movie that gives you an overview of the site. I recommend stopping here first so that you understand what you're seeing. The attraction is free but please make a donation if you're able. The staff member at the museum on the day that we visited... More
