Whether you walk from the parking lot to the beach or up and over the hill to Muir Beach, there are beautiful vistas everywhere. Sometimes wildlife (distant cougar, coyote, deer) appear. Expect cooler, windier weather than general Marin.

Hiking through Tennessee Valley toward Tennessee Beach is fantastic. Trails vary from virtually paved to 6 inch wide gullies. The view is outstanding Wherever You Are.

I love this hike. Parking can be a pain, but if you can find a spot, it's well worth it. The beach is beautiful and clean!
