Have spent many happy hours exploring this excellent wooded area with our four young grandsons. They’ve had great adventures and love the gym area. A couple of smaller climbing frames here would be a boon, but we are always amazed by how many ‘tricks’ they achieve...More

Maes y Pant is a great area for a woodland walk. Children can ride their bikes through this area safely.

Maturing nicely, thanks to the help of the volunteer goups. Occasional vandalism spoils things for everyone, but the old quarry has been transformed into a great local amenity.

We had a lovely walk in the snow our granddaughter loved the man sat contemplating at the beginning of the walk. They have easy walks as well as the more challenging Can’t wait to see in in the spring as the Japanese pines looked magnificent.

This is essentailly just a fairly small country park in an old quarry setting but it is really nice for an afternoon walk. You can walk for an hour or so and there are shady tree lined avenues, ponds, blackberries, views towards Liverpool etc.
