I found it very educational. Plus the amount of skill and time that was put into each wax figure is amazing. The figures were a little creepy but I enjoyed myself

Our family of 4 (2 adults + 4th & 6th grader) had a GREAT time at the wax museum today. It was incredibly informative, the ability to step back in time to immerse oneself into significant historical moments, was an incredible opportunity. The audio tour was terrific and the wax figures were quite realistic (some better than others). The gift... More

I was tourist - trapped by the Presidential Wax Museum while leaving Mount Rushmore, still in awe of the presentation and knowledge from the national monument. The Wax Museum does have lots of knowledge to share, but - for me, at least - inspired a sense of unease and hilarity rather than awe. The best way to describe the museum... More

Thanks so much for stopping by. One thing I love about our museum is that it's completely different for every person that stops by! Some love it because it's a weird, quirky way to spend an afternoon, while others are really, really into the history behind it all. Al Gore was missing a hand a few days this year because... More

This is a wonderful experience for the family. The presidents and their family members look real and in some cases you think you expect them to start talking.

If there's one thing I can't stand it's going to a museum and having to read, read, read. This place gives you a device that you enter a number into at the different stations and it plays information and recordings. I personally found it very interesting and fun. My family started skipping around a little because there are quite a... More

This is an amazing museum whether or not you use the hand-held audio guide at each display. We found it simpler to just read and admire the sculptures -- great history! The gift shop was filled with many different gift items along with the souvenirs and postcards.

This waxworks is a great place to visit for a couple of hours. There is an audio set provided to accompany your walking tour of the waxworks. There are many great sets to see and there are loads of facts and interest provided. Free parking outside. A great and interesting way to spend a couple of hours.

I had a lot fun here. The tour price comes with an audio tour that gives you info about each of the presidents or the local names.
