A very picturesque lake. Stop on the side of the highway or take the main road down to the lake to walk the path along the waters edge.

Our first stop after leaving Mount Rushmore and was glad we did. I could see Mount Rushmore from a side view. Liked to see the lake and all the trees and flowers.

There is a lot of room to walk around and explore the lake. Room for fishing as well. A nice picnic area is available also. Just a short distance from Mt Rushmore.
