Very hilly, but fun to walk and get a closer view of the presidents. You get to be pretty close if you walk the loop and the forest itg goes thru is very nice. I think it took us about an hour to do.

This is a nice easy walk on a paved trail from the amphitheater to underneath the president's heads. We were only able to take half of the trail because of the time of day, but that was okay. It's a pretty walk.

Beautiful drive getting there to begin with, then walking up to the wall to view Mt Rushmore was breathtaking.

Visited on Tour of National Parks and Canyon Country, a nice short pleasant trail which offers different views of iconic Mount Rushmore, it ends up leading you back round to the entrance, recommended.

This is a paved/decked walk with great views at Mt. Rushmore. There is some up and down but the footing is not an issue. It's a must if you visit Mt. Rushmore.

There is NO cost to walk the trail. There is a fee to park. The most recent information on the nps.gov site says it is $10 per vehicle; prices may vary depending on vehicle size. Lower prices apply to senior citizens.

Agreed. You can go quite a ways until You encounter stairs. It’s a lovely stroll even if you can’t complete the loop.
