Walked around this amazing area a few times this week and never did the same circuit twice, you must visit the visitorsvisitor’s Centre and take photos of all the routes, there’s so many what inter link. The people I came in contact with were so friendly.
You can have a nice 1 mile walk around the loch itself or go rambling through the forest and grass areas has there’s so many trails on offer.
Nice fort and play area for the wee one’s, an on-site ice cream van and cafe within the visitors centre and spacious outdoor area to sit and free car parking.

The country park itself is really lovely, and the play parks are great. We stopped at the cafe for coffee and lunch, went up and ordered and the lady behind the till was the rudest, most unpleasant person I have ever met. Would not be helpful, and when order had something missing, he loudly sighed, rolled her eyes and went and got the sandwich in the most passive aggressive way I have ever seen in anyone, much less service people. We will never be going to the cafe again. Please fire those women.

Great place for a saunter with various distance walks for all ages. Car park was jammed full when we arrived but managed to gay the only space left. Walks were very busy and both the children's play areas were busy. Very good cafe and information areas. Plenty of toilets. All in all an excellent place for everyone

We have visited this park a few times with our 2 grandaughters they both like it.there are 2 parks as well. One for the younger kids. We like the one with the fortress as we can go on it as well. Slides were fast. You can also walk round the water side. Toilets and cafe were closed when we went.
There were 2 ice-cream vans there.
The park was really busy.
We would definitely return

We walk around Drumpelier regularly. It's always a refreshing walk, very natural woodland around the Loch. There's always plenty of wildlife aroundcc though its also usually quite busy. It's a Mike all the way round so sometimes it's twice round for us. There's a large flat carpark so always space to stop. Well worth a visit

A great place for a walk during the pandemic. The paths are level and make for easy walking. The playpark is open and the woodland walk. However the café and visitor centre are closed, as expected.

Townhead Golf Course. This place has always struggled with drainage but we played today and it's a disgrace to be honest. We intended to play 18 but due to the conditions underfoot only attempted 10 or 11. NLC either need to invest some time and money into improving the course or close it.

I've played this place on and off for around 40 years and can honestly say that it's as bad as i've ever known it.

A nice walk around Lochend loch or you can veer off into the forest paths. Plenty of signs although not so many in the forest. Amazing how quiet it feels inside there, you wouldn't know you are next to a busy park or road.

Lots of flat paths around the loch. Huge amount of birds! Plus a swing park too.

A great park for families and dogs. But really poor cafe. Overpriced, daft staff and poor quality grub. The saltiest soup I have ever had with chunks of raw veg floating in it. Moany senior catering staff running weans that Cannae make a tea or coffee. A great new centre let down by a poor cafe.
