We tried twice to enter, on a Saturday two days before it closed. At 2:15 and 3:30 both had lines out the door. Then another 60 ft to the entrance inside. It's only $2 to get in, but I can't tell you how many crafters or houses were there. There were a ton of little kids there with parents. So... More

Every year our family returns to see the annual Gingerbread House exhibit. It's terrific! Kids of all ages, adults, groups all make gingerbread creations that are remarkably creative. The cost is only $2 to enter, and if you'll pardon the cliche, it really is "fun for all ages." I'm always amazed at what people can make out of candy +... More

The Arboretum is a fantastic place to visit for a wonderful walk in nature. There are wheelchair-friendly paths and blind-friendly paths and moderately aggressive hiking paths for the more athletic. The rose gardens are lovely. Around every corner you will find a new specialty garden, including one for ferns. There are ponds with small fountains and benches to sit and... More

We recently moved within walking distance of the Arboretum and while I had visited many times before the move, it is a treat to be so close and we go often now. I have seen in all seasons and there is always something to please the eye and soothe the soul. The gardens and walks around the open field are... More

Gorgeous park, a real hidden gem. Wonderful paths and trails for walking. You can often find exhibitions and flower/plant sales here. Lovely cafe on site. Many events throughout the year.

I have lived in the area for 20 years and somehow missed visiting this lovely park. I think I was put off by the (misguided) thought that this was a just bunch of flower beds and trees with labels! Yes, there are truly beautiful gardens for much of the year. But there are also extensive paths and trails, many of... More

Across from the Morris County Library many pass by this gem. Acres and acres of plantings. Flowering trees in the spring usher in a 2 seasons splashed with color. Activities for children make for a fun day in the great outdoors

I've visited the Arboretum often. It is a beautiful quiet place to take photos of flowers, walk, learn about flora, play frisbee or picnic on the lawn, and snowshoe or X-country ski in winter. An escape from Morristown that makes you feel as if you have traveled further away to the country. They host many activities and it is lovely... More
