This site has real significance in the Revolutionary War but you wouldn't know it by the historical interpretation or the signage. It was a real disappointment. In the Visitor's Centre, which has relatively few hours, there are some poor souvenirs for sale and a sample...More

Great place to visit. Some wonderful structures that give you a sense for how folks lived back during an important part of our countries formation.

Fun! Took our 6 yr old to earn Jr ranger badge. Rangers as always are the highlight of any national park plus free badges at the end

As a local resident and visiting as a child and as an adult, this is a part of the American heritage not to be missed. Check out the herb garden.

We usually take the unpaved path to hike. Love the peace and serenity and the shade of trees. Good marks for guidance and visitors center has maps too. Soldiers barracks and Vick house are learning fun for kids!

Yes, you can have dogs on a leash and there are receptacles available. The leash must not be in excess of 6' in length. It's a lovely area - have fun!
