As with all emergency services, you have to admire the woman and men who risk their lives for others. These services should be financially supported by government. This is a great example of a well equipped station. We took our two grand children and the...More

Although quite small the information inside was really good and you get a great view and understanding of the lifeboat, well worth a visit at the end of the Pier

Whenever I visit the coast the bravery of lifeboat crew never ceases to amaze me - whatever the weather they are prepared to risk their lives for others. Always make a contribution to this donation funded body - one day you may need them.

We love visiting and supporting life boat stations. This one however was a bit of a let down.Great to see the boat so close but nowt else really to recommend. gift shop was shut and unlike other stations nothing interactive to enjoy.

The Lifeboat here is definitely worth a visit. The siren sounded and the shutter went up and the gates opened. So my grandson was very intrigued by all this. The shop is good too.

A great look at the history and value of the lifeboat station. Many heroic stories to see, plus the magnificent lifeboat itself.
