This beautiful linear park is so lovely for a walk, a run, a read or a glass of wine. It works in all four seasons and is an outstanding feature of the City of Frederick.

The city of Frederick built this park both as a recreation area in the down town portion of the city as for purposes of flood control . Local businesses, especially restaurants, have built along the park, which has greatly enlivened the Frederick entertainment scene. This...More

Time seems to stand still as you stroll along Carroll Creek. The tromp d'oeil and artwork on the Community Bridge is definitely the icing on the cake!

Good place to take a little walk and enjoy an ice cream from the nearby ice cream shop. Further down the walk, just passed the bridge, on the opposite side looked a little dirty and unkept.

As part of the tour we walk thru this area and had a wine tasting. We visited the day of the Wine Festival. The music was fantastic and park was very beautiful.

Very attractively designed and implemented, and well used by local residents. There are several festivals and events held in the park during the summer, and on any pleasant evening there are numerous people enjoying the park -- families, groups of teen agers, couples, and singles.

Fishing is not allowed in Carroll Creek in the downtown area. However, Culler Lake is nearby and fishing is allowed there.
