A place to exercise your dog, but also a place to hear great live music in an out door bandshell, dance and celebrate the 4th of July in Grand Style. I've never used the modern park equipment, but it's always full of playing children and...More

Beautiful open space, ducks, geese - lovely just to walk around. Adjacent to downtown Frederick and near the Carrol Creek waterway. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping too.

Come for the 4th of July and watch the fireworks, visit during the summer concert series or take time to walk the creek, play tennis, swim in the pool or have a picnic.

Within a walkable, wheelchair accessible mile there's a playground, band shell, pool, tennis courts, lake and baseball fields. The historic bells help keep time reminders as well as are played at times by a special artist

The park is surrounded by streets with lots of parking. When we have a stroller we park closer to the high school end. It is easy access to all the sidewalks and paths.
