I was held up in Boston the morning that I planned to visit Lexington and Concord, so I only had about three hours to get out there, look around and get back. It was unfortunate because I think you could spend a whole day in...More

We often take touring guests here. The exhibits are good and the film is excellent. NPS rangers are also helpful. Highly recommended. (Good gift shop, too.)

Spend the day to learn about the start of the revolutionary war and start of the United States in the national park. So much to see at the Visitor Center and at the many sites along battle road and in the ranger programs. Be certain...More

The film at the Visitor's Center near the eastern end of the park is the best way to set the scene. Definitely stop here first. You can drive to various points along the route or you could walk or bike the whole length. We did...More

Nothing too crazy to see at these places. Although the history that happened here was incredible. Check out the videos and see the north bridge where it all went down. But we didn't walk the 6 mile trail or anything, just went to visitor center....More

We got to bring history to life by taking them to the where the Revolutionary War started. We walked across the North Bridge to wear the British soldiers were shot. The visitor center had an informative video and the rangers were very helpful.
