If you hike both loops plus the trek up to the plateau & back you will have hiked a little over 8 miles. There is a cut off between the loops that will take you back to the trail that goes down to the campground...More

This trail climbs the mesa above the campground and basically circles it. We did both trails up there. There are no ruins, but good views in quite a few directions. It is well marked. The only strenuous part is the climb up to the mesa...More

This trail is excellent! We left from the campground at the base and hiked up the side of the ridge about a mile or so And hooked up with the Prater trail loop. Once on Prayer, the hike is flat with spectacular views. Like usual,...More
