You drive out along a short, potholes road to park you car by the lighthouse. From there you walk round the outside of the (unmanned) lighthouse to gaze at the foaming sea below - the swirling mass of water is certainly not the place you would want to swim, but spectacular to view
Cabo Vidio is more "one of a number of places to see in a day" rather than a destination in its own right

If you enjoy walking along cliff tops, this is a wonderful place to visit. It is just a few kilometers off the motorway near Cudillero. From the lighthouse at Cabo Vidio you can see a vast stretch of the amazing coastline with its endless rias and coves and the inland mountains sweeping down to the sea. The weather wasn't brilliant when we went there, but that made it look all the more dramatic. near by is a beautiful, peaceful uncommercialised little beach, San Pedro, with soft white sand, sheltered water and rocky cliffs.

We were lucky having the nice, sunny weather. The air was transparent, the sea rather calm and we spend great hour walking and admiring this beautiful and wild coast.

It was a lovely day and the views are absolutely stunning with fabulous wildflowers at this time of year but essentially it's a walk around a wall with at one point a foot wide path, a very low foot wide bank and then a sheer cliff, so not for the unsteady!

We went her on our tire of the coast. The views from the top are stunning. The sea was beautiful and turquoise blue as far as you could see with so many bays and inlets along The Cost. The tide was right in and very rough so could not get down onto the beach but it was just beautiful to sit and watch .

If you heard of "La costa del Silencio", this is the place where they took the picture you've seen from. Amazing cliffs, great sea views, and really peaceful cape. I would say, just as much amazing as, say, the famous 12 apostles of OZ. And much less propagandized.

Amazing views of the sea and impressive cliffs from several viewpoints (miradores) including the lighthouse, Mirador de Sablón and Mirador de Cueva. We had a windy overcast day but the views were still spectacular.

It's really spectacular with amazing views! This beautiful place can provide you peace and tranquility! Hearing, only, the ocean sound and admiring those views at the same can give you a very special moment! I enjoy it very much! Take care with the road that leads to the place, it's a little bit short and in rough condition, but if you drive carefully you don't have to worry and the place worth it!
