AN IDEAL DESTINATION TO INDULGE YOURSELFThe purity of the six mineral and medicinal springs, the quality of its thermal treatments and its location in the idyllic landscapes of the National Park of Sierra Nevada (Unesco Biosphere Reserve) and the...more
Travelling to Lanjaron with my family the main reason for the trip was to visit the spa. Reservations were easy and the thermal treatment included a hot pool, cold pool, regular soaking pool (in solitude) and a steam room. They gave each of us a...More
We went on an organised trip to the lanjaron water centre. We thought we were going to see the process of bottling and purifying the mountain waters. Instead we waited around quarter of an hour to be given a plastic cup and to file in...More
There are some great walks to be had in and around Lanjaron. But best of all for me were the people. It's not a place where everyone speaks English but everyone was so friendly and helpful. Last point, there are some great places to eat.
The Balneario offers a range of spa treatments, which I didn't try. Instead I tried some of the famous spa waters. You go to reception, ask for a beaker for €1, then you go to a woman at a fountain in the foyer and she...More
The facility is definitely worn and dated, but i was treated well and efficiently. I stopped in to see what this mineral wáter was like and was surprised to find i would be soaking in what looked like a tub full of rust....lol! I was...More

Disappointing place really. Lot of hype on the website but very dated and grubby when you go there. Very expensive. Staff seem to be bored to death and totally indifferent to their clients. Treated a bit like a geriatric daycare unit. Much better spa facilities...More
I had the "Care for your back" package which was good value at €65. I turned up on spec and they fitted me in straight away, which was good. This place is not what most people from the UK would expect a spa to be...More
THE Spa itself is very clinical. The way the staff is treating you is unfriendly. Hospitality has to be lerarend. Only the massage was good. The quality is low for Thatcher price. If you want à good bath go to the Hammam in Granada.
