For the second year in a row, my grade level took our second graders on a field trip here and we will certainly be back next year. As part of a special event, we got to hear a panel of speakers: Lonnie King, Naomi King,...More

We spent about 4.5 hours here on our visit. It's free, which is rare in Atlanta. It's in teh Sweet Auburn district, which in itself is historical. You can tour the childhood home of Dr. King, but you have to sign up for tickets the...More

I did not spend much time at the Center but it was very well laid out and informative. It is right next to the Burial site.

The couple's tombs in the reflecting pool is a good place to meditate. If the center is open, a brief visit to pay your respects is appropriate.

History comes alive at the King Center and our current reality saddens me as I reflect on our past. Standing on the steps of Martin Luther King Junior's birth home.

Extremely affordable & convenient way to dive in to this great historical community. From his childhood home, firehouse, church & entire neighborhood, one can imagine him walking the blocks and being influenced by all he observed around him.

Better then the books and in class. Must see to help teach the history. Many schools need to take trips here.

small and charming and intimate. beautiful stained glass. when we walked in, someone was downstairs reciting dr. King's "Dream" speech. the calm and peacefulness was almost tangible.

When I was there last, there was no charge, but a donation was requested. Well worth the visit either way.
