- Kirk MLafayette, Indiana71 contributionsNot really a hall of fame but still worth an hour if you are a fan, like me! Overpriced in my opinionYou really don’t need more than an hour. They give you a lanyard card and you use it to interact with different features. I didn’t really like using it and it felt like a waste. There are kiosks where you were supposed to register it but no one showed me. And then it shows your favorite team at different computer screens. The displays are quite good. However, I felt that the $28 price was simply too much. A bigger Museum is needed for this expensive price. As a solo adult with patience two hours was more than enough time. I really liked the big movie at the start, it’s more of an emotional movie and not really a movie with a lot of information. Still I love college football, so it was great. The highlights are the wall of helmets right when you go in and the movie. There are a number of historical displays I liked too. At the third-floor, they have kiosks where you can interact and learn about all the actual Hall of Fame members. I did not like this. No one wants to stand in front of a computer kiosk when they visit a museum like this. That being said, I don’t know how they would depict or portray the hundreds of Hall of Fame members. I really was more interested in this as a Hall of Fame, so to speak. However, it’s really more of a shrine to the notion of college football rather than a place to learn about the individual inductees to this Hall of Fame.Visited March 2023Travelled soloWritten 18 March 2023
- f0xkrisPhoenix, Arizona23 contributionsGo Blue interactiveMy husband loves college football especially watching Michigan play. We spent over 2 hours interacting with the football displays of national champions and historic gear. He even put on Michigan game face and I heard my college fight song karaoke style for the first time. He definitely was happy to experience it all!Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 April 2023
- NapsterthecatHuntsville, Alabama1,204 contributionsMust see for College Football FansWe went when it first opened and during the week to avoid crowds. It was a great experience. You get a badge where you program your favorite team, when you walk around you can scan your badge and it will display information about your team. Plenty for all ages. At the end you can throw a pass into a net for accuracy and try to kick a field goal.Visited April 2023Written 10 April 2023
- Sue F19 contributionsA one time visitThis is an interesting experience but not one I would visit again particularly for the price. I did like they had a lot of lesser known teams on their helmet wall. However, the fight song selection for that section had few schools. It could be improved.Visited April 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 29 April 2023
- MikeBinVaWashington DC, District of Columbia73 contributionsWatch the movie!Friendly staff welcomed us. Cool entry hallway with scores of helmets. You pick the college you want info in (I picked Notre Dame vs my alma mater) and they give you a lanyard; as you get to a new exhibit it tells you what connection your team has to the exhibit. Cool. Lots of multimedia. My favorite thing was the ten minute movie. Awesome! That alone is worth the money, at least it was for me. Enjoy!Visited May 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 20 May 2023

So naturally, we had to make a trip to see this place. There are some very cool features, especially the helmet wall and the movie. It was also cool how interactive it was with the school you chose at the beginning, with various exhibits tailoring the experience to your school. It’s a pretty quick trip. I was glad I found a Groupon for this!Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 5 July 2023
- SouthernMama2Athens, Georgia239 contributionsQuick VisitI’ve always wanted to visit the CFHOF and I was not disappointed. The interactive screens were a nice touch—as they were connected to the badges we acquired upon entering—and made for a much more personalized experience. I enjoyed walking through the exhibits and being able to see the various trophies and memorabilia on display. The gift shop left a bit to be desired—better merch needs to be researched as the current selections leave a LOT to be desired—but the rest of our visit brokered no complaints. I would suggest parking in the Green Deck—which is attached to the facility—as the off-site parking is just as much (during non “early bird” hours) and a bit inconvenient if you’re attempting to maximize your time in the HOF. Overall, a great time was had and I highly recommend visiting if you’re a college football fan!Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 October 2023

What a cool experience! It’s very interactive. Our kids loved it, and we all had fun with the kicking, catching, throwing. There are lots of interactive activities on the second floor.
From the entry hall with all the college football helmets to the video, it’s all well done. I’d like to have had more time to read and see the exhibits, but our kids were not as accommodating to the non-interactive features.
We would probably come back in another few years when they would be able to hang in for a bit more of the information and reading portions. Go Hogs!

I bought a Groupon for two adults with free parking for $48. When I drove up they barricaded the main green level garage. We ended up just going to our hotel to park. Later, I learned I could have gotten in the back entrance but I didn't see any mention of this in Groupon or signs outside.
I was surprised that tickets were $27 per adult which seems like a lot to me. We basically paid $24 each which felt like a lot considering the size of the museum. We toured the museum in 45-60 minutes. I was surprised that there were not more exhibits displaying memorabilia. I get that many schools want to keep their best stuff. I guess I was expecting more stuff. Many of the interactive displays did not work for us.

I was a little apprehensive about visiting the Hall of Fame, having read some of the other reviews. I knew I would have two littles with me, that are more into princessess, than sports. However, I was quickly surprised to find that they really loved it. It was very interactive to keep their attention. From the time we registered at the football wall, until we tossed and kicked the football on the green, they were enterained.
Of course, the husband being a huge college football fan enjoyed it. The one thing I guess I was expecting to see more of was uniforms, memorabilla, etc. With it being interactive, you kind of lost some of that nostaliga that most museums have with display cases of this kind of items.
The kids liked that when you passed by the access ports, that it would show up their names. This kep them entertained, being able to feel like they were given individual treatment. They also enjoyed sing the fight song and recording a spot on college game day. LOL...this was pretty funny to see them trying to read the teleprompter.
Overall the visit was a pretty good success. I would say to give yourself at least 2 to 3 hours to explore the levels and exhibits.

Overall an enjoyable experience. The museum takes about 1.5-2 hours to go through completely. We split up with some going to the Georgia Aquarium. This sounds like a great plan, however, the aquarium is a much longer experience.
Lots of interactive displays and enough activities to keep the young kids happy.

Not as fun as for those who like the sport, but I recommend it for sure. I followed my boyfriend, and even not knowing everything about NFL was worth it

I was looking to get tickets on line and saw that a "time" is listed. As we are a group of 6 we are not sure exactly what time we all want to meet up. Can I just buy tickets when I get to the College Football Hall of Fame? What would be the advantage to buying my ticket on line?

You can purchase tickets when you arrive. The times are used to help crowd control because it is a self walking tour. I recommend visiting on a weekday because it is not as busy as the weekend. Also, if there isn't any football games in town - you might not have as much of a tourist crowd. Hope this helps! I try not to lead "Plantationer" wrong being a former resident of Plantation myself. It is a whole lot of fun!
Where can I park
Wade B

There's a covered parking garage adjoined to the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-Fil-A restaurant that charges $3 for the first hour and $1 per hour thereafter.
I parked in this garage, visited the Hall of Fame, ate lunch at Chick-Fil-A, walked a block or two and visited the Georgia Aquarium, then returned to parking garage. It was a cheaper ($2), cooler, and more secure option for me compared to driving from one parking lot to another and paying a premium for parking the first hour at another lot.

nabenom reviews the college HOF as mediocre, and says not up to Pro Standards.
It is obvious he or she has never visited the Pro Football of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
That one is the real underwhelming and disappointing exhibit. This College HOF
is hands down the best football exhibit in the world. Let alone the USA.

How long do you need for a complete tour of the hall of fame
Patrice236
Atlanta, GA11 contributions
It depends upon how much time is spent in the play area. It takes about an hour to go thru the exhibits and take in the movie. The hall is not that big. There are three floors. It also depends upon how crowded it is. I would allow at least two hours total....you could spend more time if you wanted.
