Three of us saw Andy Grammer. We got to the venue doors about 45 minutes before the show and stood in line to get in. Seating is general admission so it’s first come first serve. We were probably 100th in line. We sat in the...More

I had read they had completed a large overhaul of this theatre but it was hard to see many changes. The main ladies room still only has two stalls, although there was a sign on the door that there were more facilities upstairs. We sat...More

We paid for tickets 2 months prior to the show. When we arrived we were only able to get seats in the last row of the balcony. We could not see the stage at all. Additionally, the show was oversold and there were numerous people...More

We really enjoyed going to a concert at Variety Playhouse. The venue was small enough that it gave off a more personal vibe.We got there about 45 minutes before the doors opened and were towards the front of the line for a Philip Phillips concert.We...More

We absolutely love live music, but have no interest in watching on a big screen at a mega-venue for $300/seat. Variety Playhouse has been a favorite for years - even before they completed their spot-on, complete update and renovation of the space. Best of all,...More

Variety Playhouse is a great medium-sized venue with good seating and good acoustics. They also have a great drink selection and some basic food choices. If you arrive early there is parking available for a fee behind Variety.

Variety Playhouse is an excellent place to see a bands performance. The sound is very good and a crowd capacity of 1000 to 1500 I would say. It is an old theater converted to a show place. A standing pit in front of the stage...More

Just recently visited after the remodel and it's beautiful! This would be a great place for receptions and weddings. I attended a concert and just like before the remodel, they are still anal with stepping over the lines marked on the ground. I get not...More

Parking (for fee) behind theater...park elsewhere so you do not get stuck in after show traffic. Use a parking app to reserve a space. Center seats on both levels are cushioned/mounted to floor; side sections are folding chairs. There are bathrooms and bar on second...More

I don't see it being a problem if it was a all ages show . Like others have stated they do serve alcohol but it also is a non smoking building if that helps.
