The house is gorgeous & authentically decorated. But what made it meaningful was the tour guide, playing the role of the architect, Phillip Shutze. (I believe his name was Jon G.). I have been on many historical house tours, but this gentleman brought it alive...More

Thoroughly enjoyed today's tour of the Swan House. Ruby Ross Wood, the Inman's Interior Decorator, (a lovely knowledgeable period guide, Mariah) was playing a piece on the piano when we entered the living room. She welcomed us to the home and shared many interesting stories...More

We found the Swan House by going to the pre civil war house. We weren't aware of the other historical information and interesting places to see on the property. If you're a history buff, this is definitely the place to go!

The house was beautiful! I was able to take as many pictures as I liked. It was free to take a self guided tour. I would love to go back in the spring or summer to see the gardens.

The docents where dressed in the attire of the period. They played their parts exceptionally well. Even though I talked to them in today's time period they never went out of character. The residence was beautifully decorated quite enchanting. They were also other buildings on...More

We enjoyed our visit here, easy to just wander around at your own leisure. Plenty of info supplied. We also found it relatively easy to get to via public transport from Downtown Atlanta.

No it is included in the price of admission for the Atlanta History Center which is wonderful. Maybe I'm a bit biased being that I am originally from Atlanta. Still it is a great place but if you go to the History Center... More
