I came to Cobb Galleria for the Vintage Connect Con. Huge place. Parking not the most convenient, especially for that type of event with so many different vendors but probably a great venue for other events. I'll have to try one of the attached eateries the next time.

I left the home show very excited about doing business with two of the vendors that I met -- Jordan Hess with Living Water Landscapes & Mike Harrison with Atlantis Granite & Marble. However, neither of them stood behind what they offered at the show. I was quite bewildered. I followed up with Mr. Hess early the following week to take him up on his offer to clean my pond and educate me on how to maintain it, and he suddenly changed his tune and said, without even seeing my pond, that it needed to be rebuilt. I described my pond in detail at the show, and he did not indicate that at all. He specifically said that I just needed a lesson in biology. When I pointed out that his tune had changed, his response was "I just don't think you are going to want to pay what I will have to charge." I was stunned. I guess the $300 he quoted at the show just wasn't enough for him to bother with my job. A similar situation occurred with Mike Harrison. He said that I could go to there showroom and pick out a remnant piece of granite from the back lot to fit on my very small island for $300. (That seemed to be the magic number.) After I chose a piece, the pricing changed as did the story. He indicated that he could not discount the pieces because he never charged the original contractor for the overages. Not what he said at the show. My $300 job was going to be more like $600. He offered to discount it $50 if he confused me. No thanks. I went from elated to disillusioned in record time.

We went to Atlanta to see "An Evening Talk With Julie Andrews". When I booked, I wasn't 100% sure if we had got good seats and trusted their site that says every seat is a good one. Were they right (orchestra row S right).
It is a beautiful contemporary performing center with the warmth of an older theater. Beautifully decorated, and with extremenly friendly and helpful employees/ushers. Atlantans are lucky to have such a nice center for the performing arts.

This mall has gangs of rude kids roaming around, the stores are cheesy, parking is nil, and overall sketchy as there have been at least three shootings there in the past few years. Go up 285 another 10 minutes and there's Perimeter Mall, which is much better.

Just went to a comedy show on Saturday and was impressed with:
Parking availability
Ease of Entering Theatre
Friendliness of Ushers
Ease of Exiting Theatre
Traffic to leave was moderate, depending on where you parked. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going online and paying for a parking pass in the garage next to the theatre...well worth it!

This place is a good enough place to hold a conference or large event, but that's about it. It seems the owners only really care to maintain the property and not improve. The decor is and design is outdated and the place can often times feel like a ghost-town. The event center is home to many struggling and lackluster stores and home to a pop-up Subway, a mall-like Chinese restaurant, a pizzeria, a Jocks and Jills sports bar and the main (and best) food attraction, The Big Chow. They may have lucked out with the new Braves Stadium being built just across the way but, from the looks of things, they aren't really doing much to attract any attention. For a place with location and a LOT going on around it, this place does less than impress. A fine, air conditioned place to host a conference but their catering isn't anything to write about. Most people can be seen fleeing to the many surrounding eateries for lunch because their menu is limited and usually lacks appeal. I don't dread attending conferences here but I wish they could put a little more effort into the property and it's tenants.

This was our first trip to the Cobb Galleria and we were very impressed by its beauty and convenience. Parking was easy, our seats were great (I don't know if there are any bad seats.)
Accoustics were great, and I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is one of the best event centers to host any event! The decor is very nice, and the building is very accomodating for all.

I have been to various types of events here and they are always well done. This place is convenient being right off of the highway and a main road. The parking is also convenient and not too expensive. I think it was $5 for the day.
It's an attractive venue and large enough to handle big crowds. It's clean and has ample bathrooms throughout.
