Went to see Cherish the Ladies with the ASO. The sound quality was amazing. Super friendly staff and volunteers. Parking was a breeze in lot A. Just took the elevator up the the "main campus" and walked right into the Symphony Hall. Great way to spend a relaxing evening.

I've attended many events here, and it has been wonderful every time. From symphonies to comedy shows, the acoustics are good and there really aren't any "bad" seats.

Went to hear the Atlanta symphony last night. The principal guest conductor, Donald Runnicles, and pianist were fantastic with the performance of Beethoven 's Concert to for piano and orchestra #r in G major, Opus 58 and Mahler's symphony #1 in D major.

We went to see the "Snap Judgment" show. I definitely recommend parking in the Woodruff deck, with the entrance behind Woodruff Arts Center--even though the charge is $15, which seems outrageous. Look out for the elevators. There is a separate elevator that brings you up to street level and another elevator that takes you either up to "campus level" (to... More

We went to see legendary guitarist Pat Metheny. The hall is lovely. However, we were astounded by all the patrons who would get up during the concert to go get an alcoholic beverage. Our seat mates arrived an hour and a half after the show started and attempted recording on their phones. Thankfully there was an usher nearby to shut... More

We attended Bruckner's Choral Masterwork with Symphony No. 9 on Thursday, Jan. 19th. We connected with this historical piece as the lyrics are used in one of the orders of worship at our church. The hall was not full that evening so we had plenty of space between us and other attendees. The presentation conducted by Donald Runnicles, was beautiful.... More

Excellent show and excellent seating. I was concerned that we wouldn't be able to hear the music quite well because we were a little further back than we wanted but the acoustics were great and the seats themselves were very comfortable.

We attended the Christmas concert last night. Yes the music is beautiful, but it was just well boring. If few slow songs is OK. I needed some upbeat fun Christmas music to put us in Christmas spirit. And honestly we left sad and disappointed. The three stars were for the Morehouse College choir, they were awesome!!!

Coming from Europe where you can have place as in Wien or in Milan or in London, to hear classical music, could be a disadvantage for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra but I was there to listen Rachmaninoff and I have to tell you it was really great! Also the acoustic was good.
