This is a beautiful park and when they have outdoor events it is really cool. Went to a Jazz concert, had food vendors and other vendors selling their wares. Went with a group of couples who staked a spot under the shade.

Went for a walk after dinner. There was plenty of room for the skateboarders and the roller skaters and the bicycles as well. Interesting displays, people making movies, water views and more.

Huge park with many attractions. You can walk, run, bike, roller, swim, play collective sports, etc. It's a huge park and they have some festivals during the Spring. Also, there's an organic market on Saturdays or Sundays (I don't remember) during the morning.

I love Piedmont Park and walk through it more than once a week. It has beautiful open spaces(the meadow), a playground, dedicated active spaces (active oval), dog park, and much more. The past month or more the meadow has been torn up and full of...More

If you love to walk, this is the attraction for you. It is a lovely large park in Midtown. There is a large lake and the Dogwood Festival is a very popular event in April - music, food, fun.

I went for a run at this park and it was great. Beautiful landscape, good tracks and a lot of people running. It's a very good environment for a morning exercise.

Perfect for walking, biking, rollerblading, picnics. I love Piedmont park! There are lots of fun events during the warm months, some free, some cost money, but overall it's always a great place to visit.

No you would need to drive from what I remember. Beautiful place. The aquarium is awesome. Also for the aquarium park in the left across the street for like $5.

Plan on traveling to Atlanta in May 2017 and wanted to know the food situation in Midtown particularly around the Botanical Gardens - The restaurant LONGLEAF doesn't have enough information/photos of food (and menu seems a little pretentious) and I am concerned it won't be worth the money & time,,, I also wanted to know if there are any good food trucks, concession stands, and/or restaurants that are worth going to in Piedmont Park - We plan on staying local in the earlier part of the day and traveling to Buckhead for the evening to shop & dine...
