I visited Atlanta on two different occasions and had the great opportunity to run early in the morning, as well as take leisurely walks through Piedmont Park. It is delightful.

It was amazing how the park went on and on with so many different venues: walking/running paths, large field perfect for flying kites, basketball courts, bocce courts, dog park, soccer and softball fields, sand volleyball, tennis, and if your not into sports or exercise there are lovely areas for quiet moments on a bench or throw down a blanket and... I have been running here, just walking through or around the park and love it! There are things for all ages and beautiful views of the city! You know you are in the city but can escape to peaceful surroundings also.

Got away from Ga Tech for a few minutes during a week of training. Found myself spending an hour or so walking around plus a 30 minute walk each way from campus. Great spot for families, couples, and runners as well

Good spot to walk or run when visiting the city. Adjacent to the ATL botanical gardens and hard to find parking (except the botanical gardens deck) but a good park with fields, tennis courts, trails & a lake.

Piedmont Park is a beautiful green space in the middle of Atlanta. I definitely recommend spending an hour or two here if you're ever in the city on a pleasant day.

We went there with my daughter who recently moved to Atlanta. It was so beautiful! There was so much going on there! All kinds of people, very diverse. Families, couples, groups of friends, everything! Pet friendly!

During our visit to Atlanta we visited the park on a Friday afternoon. There is a lot of open space - children playing, games of pick up soccer, sunbathers, bikers, walkers, runners. This park is a gem!

This is a great park with lots to do: large green spaces, a small lake, a very nice public pool, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, a track and several ball fields. The farmer's market on Saturdays is nice.
