Perfect place to unwind and relax with friends or children. Great place for the Dogwood Festival in the daytime only.I wouldn't want to be there at night time taking a walk. Not worth any trouble.

Looking for a fun activity in Atlanta? Get on the path, or off, at Piedmont Park and you'll have plenty to do. You can play tennis, go for a swim or sit on the great lawn. Go to a great farmers' market during the season every satruday morning. There is not a shortage of ways to enjoy the park.

Decided to take my puppy for a walk through the park on a Saturday morning. I drove around the entire park looking for a place to park - about 20 minutes later I found a spot up a residential street which was about 2 blocks from the park. I spent about an hour in the park. It was very clean... More

Plenty to do, plenty going on. It is a nice central location in the city with activities frequenting on the fringes of the park. A nice place to stroll or jog with well maintained grounds and swimming during the summer.

Great place for a jog. Lots of smooth paths. Some moderate hills. Easy to do 10 miles without getting bored. Lot of dogs, but all on leashes and a dog park. On Sat morning a nice farmers market that you can catch breakfast and a coffee or ice coffee afterwards.

We were lucky enough to be visiting Atlanta while the Dogwood festival was on. Piedmont Park is a lovely park, very open and defiantly worth a visit, even when the festival isn't on. It was beautifully sunny when we visited, don't miss out on the Disc dogs competition and check out the art!
