Prior to my visit, my memories of Jimmy Carter and his presidency centered on the terrible situation that occurred during the Iran hostage crisis. The visit to the library and museum gave me a much broader historical perspective, including the fact that the hostages were released after significant negotiation, obviously with the Carter administration. I had mistakenly thought the Reagan... More

I learned a lot about Jimmy Carter and America during his presidency. Having not lived through the Carter years, I was unaware of most of his accomplishments. It was a fascinating visit. Check out the lovely gardens and trails outside. This is a can't-miss for Atlanta!

This was my first visit to a Presidential library and it did not disappoint. I am a self-described conservative but politics wouldn't stop me from going to any of these libraries. This one showed what a great humanitarian President Carter was after his White House years. You tend to hear some of it on the news, but it doesn't begin... More

We enjoyed the visit to the museum. It did a nice job covering President and Mrs. Carter's pre-presidential, presidential, post-presidential years as well as the significant events during that time. Well worth the time.

Very good library full of great information about the past president! Lots of displays and unique artifacts. Could only wish to have more time to investigate everything! I thought the admission cost was a little much though at $8/person.

You will get an amazing sense of knowledge but most of all education on all of Jimmy Carter's accomplishments. It's great to hear from him, see how far we've come in human rights and appreciate where we are today.

I only planned 2 hours, based upon other reviews that said it wasn't that elaborate. Well, our party of three kept visiting and reading for 4 hours, because we were learning so much. I liked the set up of the exhibition, with lots of image material and letters, and some interactive things too. I felt it was balanced and exhaustive... More

We enjoyed our visit immensely once we figured how to get into the parking lot! Fascinating look at his presidency, the campaign leading up to it and everything they have accomplished in the follow up years as citizens of the world!
