Okay while Phillips Arena is better than the Omni was, Phillips was built extremely fast. Once you get to your seat it's not bad but before, whether it's a sporting event or a concert it's extremely chaotic. No real organization.

Easy in out access with MARTA. Plenty of pricey places inside to eat. Handicap seats at the top of 103 are great for little people in a wheel chair. And plenty of places that sell drinks near by. Bathroom is also close to this area.

The arena is a great spot for a concert. Great location and easy to get into. The parking decks should be marked better for easier identification, but entry is easy.

Philips is a world class arena. We have seen many sporting events as well as concerts. There is plenty of official arena parting plus safe non official lots close by. There is a wide selection of food - some is pretty good for an arena....More

We attended for a music concert. The seating is good. As with any arena seats are well marked and it is not difficult to find your way around. Hawkers are a little in your face with their cold water for sale but that is not...More

Good for basketball events and concerts but the sound quality is not as good as it could be. Better food choices on the Mezzine side as well.

Never been to Phillips arena. Buying tickets for Tom Petty. What section has the best seats. I'm looking for a good view and best all around experience. Thanks!

Honestly, I can't say as I wasn't inside the arena. I walked around the outside and never had a chance to go in as the Circus was in town and I didn't have tickets. I would take a look at the floor plan for a concert on... More
Is it too cold (a/c) inside? I am going there for a concern. Should I bring a jacket?

We weren't cold, but, then, we were at a basketball game. Don't know if they make it colder for a concert. I'd bring a light sweater or jacket just to be safe.
Hi we are looking at buying tickets for tim mcgraw. We've never been to Philips arena. But ive read 103-105 are the best seats. Just curious why? They are roughly the same price as some of the floor seats, within $20 which is better? Any recommendations or tips are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

It's a personal decision. I always like being up one level. It's a better view with less obstruction. But, others want to be up close and in to the action. Don't know about the specific 103-5 section.
