I've visited during the summer and during the winter season for 'Holiday Nights & Garden Lights' -- my daughter and I had a BLAST. Wine, Smores by the Fire, Music, the GARDEN! A ATL bucket list for sure.

Yes, they are complimentary and first come, first served. I remember the area being really flat for the most part, but there is a lower garden path that has a bit of a hill back up.

I was there in April and Orchids were the star of the show. Not sure how often their special exhibits change.
