It is nice little walkable park, but in groups only. Very scratchy if you are a female and you are walking alone. A lot of homeless people hanging around on the benches so you cant even a stroll without someone jumping in front of you.

Centennial Park is a great park in Atlanta. There are 2 metro stops at the park, so it is easy to get to and centrally located. Many Atlanta attractions are around or near the park, including World of Coke, CNN, the Georgia Aquarium, the College Football Hall of Fame, and the Atlanta Ferris Wheel, all in walking distance of each... It's a pleasant place to walk through and maybe enjoy a hot dog on a leisurely day downtown but not really an attraction on it's own

Was at the world of coca cola this park is across the street. Not much left from 1996 olympics very well taken care of. If you have time sit and look ok but most people on vacation don't have the time to waste it here.

A great park area in the middle of the big city of Atlanta. Great monuments to the 1996 Summer Olympics throughout the park area. Lots of water fountains (not working because of drought warnings) . A nice ice skating rink. Lots of pretty Christmas decorations with a giant Christmas tree in front of ice rink. Lots of people walking around... More

Easy to get to and you can take the train from this spot and get basically anywhere in the downtown area.

After all these years, the park is still beautiful. The fountain is a wonderful place to take pics and let the kids play. The holiday decorations are nice and we could hear Christmas music coming from the adjacent ice skating rink. From the kids to the grandparents, we had a memorable time!

We ventured over to Centennial Olympic Park from the Georgia Aquarium because they are basically right next to each other (walking distance). There was a really cool playground for this kids to burn off some energy was was nice. There is a huge open... More

If you're already here for the aquarium or World of Coca-Cola, take a few minutes to walk through the Olympic Park. There are some nice sculptures and lovely water features, with plenty of nooks and open spaces to relax. Just FYI, I saw a lot of bums in this area, but they kept to themselves and did not bother anyone.
