At the recommendation of our wonderful hosts at the Sleep Motel, Hurricane Grandma visited the SugarBush Farm. Greeted at the door by Mat with a table of delicious Vermont cheeses and syrup- to sample - well worth the calories,E.G. Horeradish Cheddar ( who knew) Cheddar - 18 months to 8 years, blue cheese, Jalepeno cheddar, every kind of jam, mustard,... More

My partner had dinner at the Worthy Kitchen on a Wednesday during a mini vacation getaway. They have a very homey atmosphere; the restaurant is self-serve, where you order your food from the bar and sit where ever you like. The menu ranges from traditional bar food stuffs like burgers, wings, and other sandwiches to fancier fair depending on what... More

Thank you for your review. However I think you have confused Sugarbush Cheese and Maple farm with the Worthy Kitchen. We agree that they are a great place and we have them on our list of restaurants when our visitors want to know where to go. Sugarbush Farm is 5 miles outside Woodstock and the Worthy Kitchen is right on... More

This is a fun little stop, particularly if you have kids. You can walk around the farm, see how maple syrup is made and pet some farm animals. Inside there is a small area for cheese and maple syrup tasting. They day we were there there was a wedding party there as well, so it was a bit chaotic and... More

The drive up to Sugarbush Farm was a bit crazy for those of us from the suburbs. It's located up some winding mountainous narrow roads and paved dirt roads and it was a bit nerve wracking actually getting to the farm. BUT don't be deterred, the views are stunning and while getting to the farm is a bit of an... More

Hi Frank So glad you enjoyed the farm. I tell folks that we country hicks don't think a thing about a back country road when we are driving but put us on a 6 lane freeway and I am sure we are more nervous than city folks coming up our road. More

I visited Sugarbush farms while passing through Woodstock. The drive up from town is lovely and the "maple exhibit" is interesting and educational. The staff in the shop was very friendly and helpful. I tried many types of cheeses and syrup and then easily arranged to have several items shipped home. It is well worth the visit and would be... Lots of fun tasting the 15 different kinds of cheese and different varieties of real maple syrup. Also great tour of the grounds and the sugar house.

I'm so grateful I drove up the hill to this lovely location. I've visited a few times now and am always happy with my visit. The folks here love what they do and will give you a chance to help out, if you ask them.

We did enjoy our stop here and it is worth stopping by to shop at the store. You can see the barn where they process their maple syrup. The shop is great with lots of goodies to be had.

We found this hidden gem while exploring Woodstock. The family was lovely and welcomed us in to see syrup being made, we filled up on samples and made purchases in the gift shop. Great for kids to learn and the sugaring process.
