About Haliotis
In Berlengas natural reverse it is possible to dive all year-round however high season is from June to October. In this season, the water temperature goes from 16ºC to 20ºC so it is recommended to use a 7mm wet or semi-dry suit. From November to May the water temperature is around 15ºC so a semi-dry or dry suit is recommended. Between December and February due to the sea conditions diving is only when possible. Diving starts with a boat trip to the islands in a trip that lasts about half an hour. It is common to have some waves and wind on the way to the islands but when we get there we can have very calm dives. Dives are made from our rigid inflatable boats which allows us to deal with all kinds of weather. The surface interval is usually made in the Islands.

Extremely friendly service. I had to leave the island and they were kind enough to allow me aboard. Recommended.

We booked three daytrips to Berlanga this July / August and each of them was excellent. We saw dolphins on the boat trips and under water we visited the Primavera wreck, the "Peter's fish reef" and many magnificent caves and canyons (Ilhéu Maldito, Tromba do Elefante...) Big thanks to our competent and very friendly divemasters Pedro and Fabio and to the entire Haliotis-crew! We really enjoyed our divings with you. 🐙👌

We went diving two consecutive days with Haliotis. Communication via email was efficient and also once on site everything went smoothly. We partially brought our own equipment and rented a bcd and fins. All the equipment was in good state and also the rental suits looked good. The boat is large and can definitely withstand the waves. We went for one dive to Farilhoes and three on Berlengas. The dives were good but we expected more large life and fish. The highlight of our dives was to spot a beautiful John dory. A great diving center!
