Our winery was realized only in 2011 after 60 years of wine growing expertise, the family has specialized in agriculture since 1800 and owns a total of 170 hectares of land. Three generations of the Bartoloni family have contributed to the construction of the winery; grandfather Paolo who has dedicated his life to agriculture and moreover has always specialised in vine growing; his son Giovanni who had the courage to believe in the investment necessary to realise one of the most modern wineries in the area; and grandson Paolo who with his degree in agricultural studies will dedicate the rest of his life to wine production.

We've visited them twice now. VERY friendly people, family business.... the young manager speaks excellent English too !! The wines are on the expensive side compared to the wines we drink 'at home', like, regular table wine, but the quality is excellent ! You can book wine tastings WITH (or without) food...... and the view from the place is worth... More

We made a reservation for wine tasting with lunch. The views from the winery are beautiful and the cantina for the tastings is very pretty. They also have a lovely outside area. Each course was paired perfectly with the food. Even if you just came for the wine and cheese tasting it would be great, but the lunch was wonderful.... More

We had a wonderful afternoon at the vineyard! We had made a reservation prior to going. Wine was incredible as well as the lunch that was served! Felt like we were spending the day with family. Definitely do not miss this if you are in the area!

The manager gave us (a young Belgian couple) a nice and detailed tour in the winery last year in July. A nice piece of cheese accompanied the wine tasting. The wine is truly excellent. The white wine is one of the best in our wine cellar.

Our afternoon at Cantina le Climate was a highlight of our stay in Umbria. The winery's location is absolutely beautiful and the drive alone provided enough beautiful scenery to make the trip worth it from Orvieto. We were the only people there for the tasting and we were treated so graciously. We loved the sampling of local meats and cheese... More

Paolo Bartolonis red wines are special but wait until you have tasted the white wine named "Aragon". We love going to Le Cimate again and again. Certainly one of our favorites!

We evaluated to do a Gusto winetour, but selected to try to schedule our own tour. Cantina le Cimate was one of the vineyard that pleasantly replied to our request and let us visit their vineyard. Paolo welcomed us to this nice and very modern winery. The vineyard is located on top of the hill (Le Cimate) and the view... More

This winery was one of our favorites in all of our travels in Italy. We have been to about 40. You must meet Paolo and his lovely wife. They are so generous and hospitable (hence the title)! The wine that they produce is fantastic and their kindness is even greater! This is a don't miss experience. They do a local... More
