Lots of great shows at an historic venue in Richmond. Beautifully restored, good view of the stage from most seats in the house. They now have parking available at the Commonwealth parking garage on event nights. Definitely take advantage.

Went for a TEDxRVA event this time. 9am-5pm a long time but still very enjoyable. We have been here for plays, for the opera, for the symphony, etc. A great old theatre.

I hear it was originally a Lowe's theater long ago. It is elegant, a mix of classic and nostangic. It has been kept up well. Seats are comfortable. Shows are mainly special events. Lots of parking nearby, for about $10. Many restaurants in the area,...More
