All of our grandchildren love the Children's Museum of Richmond! It is always a hit! There are myriad of activities for children from toddler age to 8 years old. One of my granddaughters loves the merry go round and the dinosaur cave, another granddaughter's favorite...More
Our grandchild is hyperactive (in a good sense) and needs a lot to keep him entertained. This museum is a favourite of his and apart from anything else, he learns a lot. It's very popular. There are lots of activities and things to do. Entry...More
Visited the Downtown location with a 6 and 8 year old on a weekday in July. We've visited in previous years and enjoyed the experience. This time though, I wish I had requested my money back. My 8 year old asked to leave within the...More
It has a lot of things your kids can pretend play with. The grocery store and diner was a big hit. There is also a cave for yours kids to have fun with. Recommended going early because it does fill up quick.

Art space was fun but nothing that we don't already do with them at...More
Staff is friendly. Nowhere near as extensive as the Museum of Play in Rochester NY. Nice water feature for the kids to cool off. Almost no food. Exhibits were fun for the 5 and 7 year old girls we took. I think this place is...More
When the Grandkids aged three to seven come to town they always ask for it and have a great time. I think the Broad St. location is the best one. Be sure to include a ride on the carousel which runs hourly and costs $...More
