We were looking for something to do that was different. Even though we have lived in the area for more than 10 years we had never done the canal walk. What an interesting experience. We found a place to park off of 12th street and...More

Loved the walk. Canal has been neglected unfortunately. Also on Sunday's there is a church service on Brown Island from 10.00am to 4.00pm so you can't use parts on the Canal Walk.

Came here on a sunday morning. We spent about an hour checking out the canal, bridges and river. Worth the time allocation.

Along the river and easy walk from downtown, this is a great outdoor park. This area has been carefully restored and is a wonderful outdoor park for a casual walk or an energetic stroll / fun. Highly recommend.

My wife, Jeni, and I road along Canal Walk yesterday when we rented electric bikes at Pedego of RVA at the Segway Tour shop. It was so much fun!
