Perhaps the most interesting captiol building I have experienced... The architecture of this site is terrific, and walking through a site so steeped in history was a great experience. I wasn't able to take the guided tour, so I relied on all of postings to...More
We forget how much history (national, not just Virginia!) was made right here. The Capitol is very visitor-friendly! Easy access via steps or elevators. Nice gift shop and cafe. Our docent was terrific. Take a tour or wander about on your own, or both. And...More
This is such a beautiful historic building. The docent was full of iinformation & historical tidbits. Very interesting & totally entertaining. The grounds are also very nice & the Washington statue was a m axing.
