Went here in December 2018 for the Xmas light showing. It was extremely busy on the Sunday before Xmas Eve. They had a coffee and hot chocolate bar which helped warm us up. I’d recommend going before it gets close to Xmas or it’ll be...More

Thanks for your review, Brooke. You are correct; visitation increases the closer we get to Dec. 24/25 (and we’re closed those nights). Some people like the excitement of that time, but for those who don’t, that’s a good recommendation to visit earlier or later in...More

Warm your soul after a brisk walk around the property. A combination of snow banks and icy ponds glistened in the bright sunshine. The Garden had a rare outdoor flower in bloom - even in the dead of winter. The guide was so happy to...More

We love to just stroll thru Lewis Ginter and feel and smell the flowers and plants. Their Christmas exhibit is awesome as is the butterfly exhibit in the summer. Great place for afternoon of calmness.

Nice conservatory with great orchid display. Various types of gardens and lake. The library is amazing too! Well worth a trip with seasonable plants. The tulips and a million bulbs in April is so beautiful. Check out the illuminated night lights during the winter holiday...More

Definitely worth a visit ... Admission is $13 per adult (2018-2019) and it can get very crowded on weekends. I don't go every year but once every several years and it's worth a visit every time. It is a great place to bring children or...More

We spent a delightful evening wandering the beautifully illuminated gardens at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens. We visited on a mild Monday evening in early December and arrived just at dusk which allowed us easy parking access and time to walk through the gardens and see...More

Even though I do not visit here often enough, Christmas is the time to go. This year I believe the lights were the best yet. I would love to know how many lights they have. The layout of the lights is beautiful and having some...More

I know the Garden Fest relies on volunteers to put the lights up and it’s nice, but not as awesome as in the beginning. The lights were just laid out in lines on the open grounds, or wound around the trees. I saw 2 Pokémon...More

I went to the gift shop during Christmas. It was such a lovely place. I ended up eating in the cafe which was delightful! Can't say enough nice about this lovely place.

Maybe too late for this Christmas (ends Jan 7). But try to get there if you can. This is what one million Christmas lights looks like. Kids will love it. They even had special days to bring your dog! Food, music, model trains were just...More

Good morning, Spring, summer or fall would be better for maternity photos. You can learn more about our photo policy on our website. Click on "Facility Rental" and then "Photography".

Still plenty to see in October both outdoor and indoor in their large greenhouse. The orchids are especially nice. Also they often have special events on weekends which are often enjoyable.
