That's all it is! We took a 2km detour to see this after seeing the signpost - we saw it about 12yr ago when we last visited Sardinia. It is pretty impressive - I prefer the distance view rather than close-up. If you're nearby I'd...More

Strange that a stone shaped like an elephant should be high up on the things to see nut it is truly impressive. This becomes more fascinating when you get closer and it seems to have been some ancient tomb, with small holes for bodies visible....More

Currently the road is closed just after the rock, so you arrive and have to U-turn. Thermocouple is just on the left side, and it is impressive. Also the valley downstairs is a good view, moon- kind. Definitely worth the short detour.

This rock is a must see! And you can take really nice photos there. Only parking is a little bit difficult because you must leave the car on the road...no parking

It’s a big stone. Looks like an elephant. That’s it. :) If you are in the area then it’s a nice short stop for a photo. But don’t drive more then 50km for it.

Suggest you only bother to visit if you happen to be passing. Not worth a special trip in my opinion.

It's a beautiful elephant shaped rock just standing there by the side of the road. If you are passing by the north region it's right outside Castelsardo. You have free parking and it's a free natural attraction with easy access.

That looks like an elephant. Nothing more. If you're near Castelsardo just make a quick stop, take a picture and enjoy the beautiful view.

A special rock just off the road that reminds you of the elephant. Beautiful view of the valley, otherwise, be careful when parking, because there are no special parking lots!
