I took my daughter to MIT Splash 2016. What an incredible way for a high school student to experience a college! The program was well run and the campus was beautiful. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Definitely a much better way to check out a school as oppose to a regular campus visit.

If you're looking for an education in the sciences or even the humanities and want a place to learn how to learn, critique, and think, this is the school. Period.

This is the type of place where you can just wonder and look at all the university has to offer. The buildings and grounds are beautiful.

We went there for the student-led tour, and even though it was raining (more like sprinkling), the tour went on as usual. The student guide was very engaging. I got to learn about the history of MIT, their traditions, culture, hacks, and student life. And most of all, the tour brings us into the buildings! Our tour started a little... More

The ceiling of the main entry hall will inspire anyone who understands the importance of the well-rounded education that MIT offers those with the desire to learn.

It was a lovely sunny day in Nov when I visited. The official student tours were closed for the year so was expecting to look around on a self guided tour. Went to the info centre and was told that there was a tour on at 11am. It was fantastic as also led by a student (a current sophomore in... More

I was here in the Veterans Day. It wasn't a busy day maybe because students are in break? The open air space in front of the Great Dome is such a wonderful place to be. Sitting on the soft lawn open to the horizon of the city and river. I immediately draw my awareness to the lively things around me.... More

It's my alma mater so I am a bit biased :) The MIT campus is very unique and spread across about 100 acres.. all the buildings are numbered (as are the classrooms and just about everything; remember this is MIT :)). Building 2 with its infinite corridor is a must, as would be a stroll across the campus on memorial... More

Even though there were many scaffoldings, I liked the buildings and places. It wasn't that astonishing but good to look around.
