Just another incredible, amazing, astounding Icelandic Waterfall. Do Not Miss!

Skogafoss, a massive waterfall just off Route 1, about 25 km west of Dyrholaey. This is also one of the most visited sites in Iceland since it’s easily accessible from Reykjavik and very well-known. There were less people there than I expected but probably due to the inclement weather. It was raining, windy, foggy and misty from the spray. The... More

In the land of waterfalls, you start to get immune to their beauty as one is more impressive than the other. This is a beautiful waterfall but after seeing Gullfoss and Seljalandsfoss this was not our favorite. Still worth a stop and some photos.

As we was driving to the Black Beach in Vic - we saw this waterfall from the road and just had to stop, there was quite a lot of people around taking photo as this is a place the tours will stop. This waterfall is very impressive and great for photos - there are steps to the left which will... More

It's big (one of the biggest waterfalls apart from Gullfoss) and impressive. There's a small toilet and cafe. It's free to park and visit

A must see if you're driving along the south coast. You can view it from the bottom and climb the stairs to get a view from the top.

A stunning waterfall which in the right months you can walk behind. Beautiful to look at and well worth a visit in Iceland.

If you're driving around Iceland, you'll easily see this from the road and it demands that you stop to soak in the experience. A gorgeous waterfall that is a "must see"

Iceland is definitely the country of waterfalls! This one also can't be missed! An absolute beauty! There is a very long set of stairs / steps that you could take all the way to the top to capture the whole experience. Slight warning: it was quite strenuous to get to the top. But once up there, the view is spectacular... More

This waterfall offers views from the bottom, short walk from parking lot or you can climb the stairway to the top. A restaurant, restrooms and information center on site. A great museum named "Skogar museum" that captures about 1000 years of life in Iceland is only a few hundred yard away.
