This is expensive but a must do when you visit Iceland. Transport is included from any hotel with a change of minibus to coach at the central bus station in Reyjavik. Blue Lagoon is pretty busy but numbers are controlled by ticket allocations so that it does not become overcrowded. The changing rooms are excellent with lockers for your clothing... More

Most people will come to visit this place once regardless. It is over rated and expensive. The basic admittance fee is about $50. For what? a real big, big salt water warn spa the size of may be about 3 football fields. That is it. Oh, you share it with a lot of people. This is not even a luxury... More

It was quite crowded and had to queue to get in but was worth the wait. Nice experience and felt good dipping in the natural thermal pool surrounded by snow and ice, but I won't consider it as unique as I've been to other similar thermal pools in other parts of the world. Blue Lagoon is no doubt the better... More

Look, we all have seen the images and dreamed of this as being THE icelandic experience, but is it for you? Are you on a Batchelor (Stag) Party? Do you love "Las Vegas Pool Life?" Staying only in Reykjavik? Then this is the place for you! Pros- Premium entrance. Booze! clean, 45 min from town (even closer to airport), very... More

Take a whole day to bathe in the warm blue volcanic water and relax. There is a bar to get a drink in as you bathe as well as waterfalls and steam rooms. It's worth upgrading to have a bath robe as it can be a bit chilly when you get out of the water. We spent 6 hours here... More

We almost did go to the Blue Lagoon, and I am BEYOND GREATFUL that we did! Such a unique place! Yes, we tried two types of mud masks, and my skin felt amazing. It was also very fun to get a drink from the lagoon bar ! We also enjoyed the sauna. Everyone seems so happy here, we chatted with... More

Definitely worth a visit. We got there early in the morning and it wasn't too busy. You are allocated a 1 hour slot but can stay as long as you like. It's a unique experience and the lagoon has a calm and quietness about it. Choose the mid range package if you can as you are provided with flip flops,... More

We had the most fabulous afternoon at the Lagoon. Everything has been well thought out and the queues go down quickly. Our only negative comment would be the ladies changing rooms.. one lot closed so everyone was piled in like sardines trying to get changed or showered. Once in the water though the whole experience was amazing!

We hadn't booked before arriving in Iceland on Friday pm (big mistake) and the only slot left until Monday was 9pm on the Sunday night which turned out to be a fantastic slot. We treated ourselves to dinner in the Lava Restaurant beforehand and although the prices were eye-watering (ie more than our flights) the food was of Michelin star... More

We visited on the way from the airport to Reykjavik, and spent around 1.5 hours here. It was fantastic, and we could have stayed for the whole day. The facilities are spotless, staff are friendly, and the swim up bar was excellent.
