I usually don’t write reviews of attractions but I was so disappointed by the Lincoln Library and Museum that I’m making an exception. Springfield is a city full of authentic Lincoln sites and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting all of them. I left the entire last...More

I was expecting more of a traditional museum instead of an interactive experience. This would be a great visit for children. They had lots of photos, many I had seen before, and I really enjoyed the Civil War in 4 Minutes and the program showing...More

We were expecting more of a museum in the traditional sense, but what we got was more of an interactive experience. The museum winds you through time lines of Lincoln's life, starting in his log cabin in Kentucky and ending with his assassination. The two...More

This was an afternoon family journey. The entire facilty and staff are the best ever. You are treated quickly and friendly. The staff ensures you are aware of the times for the 'movies'. This is a place that any age would enjoy and make you...More

They have large scale recreations of numerous things in Lincoln's life, and those are well worth seeing. The museum is much more commercialized than other Springfield Lincoln sights, but still worth it.

The Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, Illinois is a great place to visit. The museum is very well laid-out, easy to see all of the exhibits, and gives wonderful insights into the life of a very special person. Very enjoyable....would certainly go again!

A wonderful engaging experience. I took a 12 yr old and we both loved it. Be sure to see both performances.

I thought I knew about Lincoln but I was wrong. A conflicted man who suffered many heartbreaks Lincoln did so much without support. So many similarities to our current president. I recommend this museum to everyone.
