We enjoyed a very informative tour with a knowledgeable guide. The rich history inside this home is intriguing. We actually enjoyed the upper level most which has not been restored yet but the whole home was a pleasure to visit.

This home is very special in history and in Lincolns family. There is a lot of historical information given by the guides in period costumes. We really enjoyed looking around the home which is still raising funds for more work to be done to keep...More

The Edwards House is a beautiful home, built in 1833, and historically is tied to Abraham Lincoln - the tour will tell you how. We enjoyed an excellent tour from a very well versed historian, Erica. On Wednesdays at 2 pm through August Abe Lincoln...More

You'll hear about the "connection" they have to Lincoln. It is quite a stretch, but that doesn't matter because the house is worth going to see. The bottom floor has been re-done to match what it looked like in Lincoln's days. It's fun to learn...More

This is a must see attraction. This home has been beautifully restored in most areas of the home. They have most of the original furniture, including a chair that Lincoln and Mary sat in when they were dating. You can take as many photos as...More

Our RV club toured Edwards Place while in the area. The tour guide did an excellent job showing us the home and explaining the life of its occupants back when it was built. Well worth the time and minimal fee.

I've visited Edwards place several times over the years and have always enjoyed the house, the artifacts, the story, and the tours. A couple years ago, the first floor underwent a major restoration and it is so much better--more accurate depiction of a mid-19th-century Springfield...More

I am not sure of the hours but the tour is roughly 1 hour. Except with our guide she ran over by 30 minutes or so because she couldn't stop talking and not taking questions.
